A short guide to listing your property on the site.
- Register an account, you will receive a confirmation email with a link, so please use a real email address.
- Once you have confirmed your email, log-in using your user name and password.
- When you are logged in you will see your user name appear approve the log-in panel.
- There is also a new button on the top menu My Control Panel under the login button, click on this link and you will be directed to your control panel.
- Here you will find a short introduction to the member?s area and a list of prices.
- There are three sections, user profile (what people will see about you), Shortlist ( for storing your property searches) and an email listing button to send your property to all the registered users.
- There is also a section to add your address if it is not already here, remember Google maps do not cover Portugal with a 100% accuracy so it is sometimes better to go for a larger town than a village.
- Towards the bottom of the page is a add new listing button, select here to add property.
- Now you are presented with six tabs, not all of these are available at the free stage, complete all the sections available and press submit listing at the bottom of the page.
- Please remember to include a photo graph, only one is available at this stage, the larger the photo the longer it will take to upload, 640x480 pixels is the optimum size. Image resizing tools can be found in the links section .
- The property will remain unpublished until an Admin approves the property, this is to stop people abusing the site.
- After you have submitted the property and the image has uploaded you will be taken back to your control panel, scroll down the page and you will see your property, there are now two options to upgrade the listing, 5? to premium and 10? to featured.
- Select an option and you will be taken to PayPal, a secure banking system, there is also the option to pay by credit or debit card, PayPal is owned by eBay and has one of the most secure systems available
- After you have made the payment and we have received the payment the listing will go live, and it will run for the agreed time plus seven days grace for renewal, you will be emailed to remind you to re-list.
